Hattiesburg is a city in the U.S. state of Mississippi, located primarily in Forrest County and extending west into Lamar County, it has a population of around 50000. It's also home to some of the finest alternative, punk bands in the U.S.A.... A truism! And Skinman are not letting Hattiesburg down, in fact, quite the opposite. Skinman's s/t debut is certainly in contention for release of the year (in my humble opinion) Within the seven tracks tempos shift, song to song, verse to chorus, the vocal reverb is constant as is the ominous mood. It's hardcore for sure, slightly unsettling, a beautiful noise!
